Since
1971, our products have been
installed in laminated panel insulation systems. It is still
effective and
cost efficient today for many storage tank insulation
projects.
Our Horizontal panel system consists of foil-faced isocyanurate foam
insulation, in various thicknesses, laminated to a metal outer
sheathing. The sheathing materials are available in aluminum
or
Galvalume, in painted or mill form, and stainless steel. Each
panel is factory curved to match the tank's radius. Panels
are
secured to the tank with 3" wide aluminum or stainless steel external
banding spaced on two-foot vertical centers. A unique system
of
tensioned 'bandsion assemblies' are installed at calculated intervals
in each band row to allow for operational expansion and
contraction. Because the horizontal system is installed
without
welded attachments, the tank normally can remain in service while being
insulated. Our horizontal panel systems are individually
engineered with our exculsive distributors to meet the specific requirements of each project.
