Our 50 year background in designing pressure closures such as watertight, gaslight and airtight doors and hatches has been adapted and refined in our Covertite Cover design.

The concept behind the Covertite system is different from "also ran" competing cover systems that are currently on the market. None of these systems address the need for which the covers were intended - the capability to provide tightness and containment.

Covertite joints are sealed utilizing gaskets made of chemical, sunlight and ultraviolet resistant materials. Gaskets are affixed to cover panels and remain in place after repeated removal and reinstallation of the covers. In addition, the gaskets provide cushions and buffers in cases of extreme temperature fluctuations where severe cases of expansion and contraction occur.
